I am so excited to be chosen as a host for the “Fun, Fit and Guilt-Free House Party” sponsored by Your Shape with Jenny McCarthy and Jell-o Mousse Temptations! A few days before  Christmas I received my party pack which consisted of coupons for the new Jell-o Mousse Temptations, Just Dance for Wii, Your Shape for Wii & various other party favors.  I am so excited to host this party because well, it goes along with my “non resolutions”…but more than that, it will be a blast!

My family and I have had a chance to try out both Wii games and I can tell you that my teens prefer Just Dance over Your Shape but me, I like them both!  Just Dance will wear your butt out but what’s better than burning calories while having fun?  As for Your Shape, well, let me just say that even as slow paced as it is (slow enough for this older person to keep up with) I was sore for two days after my first session with Jenny.  Now, if I can only keep on the schedule of 15 minute work outs 3 days a week that the game set for me, I will be doing good!  If I can’t keep up, it’s only because I am lazy…no other excuse!

Again, after the 9th, I will give you a full review but until then, I hope you will check out these great products for yourself!  You won’t regret any of them!

I’m off now…to start on my BlackEyed Peas for our traditional New Years Eve-ning!  Maybe I will start a new tradition by having Mousse Temptations after wards!

As 2010 approaches, I am hesitant to make any resolutions, as I know I rarely never keep them.  This year will be no different.  I do want to make some changes in my life, no doubt, but I will not be announcing them out loud or in print because just as sure as I do, I will not keep them.  This is why I have trouble losing weight…as soon as I start eating better, something tempting ALWAYS comes along and I just can’t seem to resist it!  I am also not very organized but again, I will not say “I am going to do better” because as soon as I do, my pile of papers, coupons, ad and what not will get bigger and messier!  That’s just me – and even though I may be a bit overweight & a teensy very unorganized, I am happy so with that being (not) said, I wish you and your family a VERY HAPPY and SAFE NEW YEAR!!

…and still way too much to do!

I spent the first week of December sick which had me in bed for most of those days so no shopping for me!  Last weekend was my birthday so hubby and I had a night out…and get this, he is sick!  We did have a good time regardless…at least I did!  So the start of my last week at work before my 15 day Christmas vacation and guess what?  I am sick AGAIN!  This time with a horrible sore throat, fever, aches and a lovely cough.  The one thing I am most grateful for is all of that Theraflu (stop by and get your $2.00 off printable coupon) that I picked up at CVS a few weeks back!  We never use the stuff…now, well, both bottles are close to being GONE!  Now I am hoping that I can get to feeling better so that I can manage to get out and get the last of my shopping done.  I am thankful to Swagbucks for all of their help in getting my husband’s Christmas gift taken care of!  I ordered it today and got it for over 50% off what the normal cost it.  I paid for half of it in Amazon GCs that I earned from doing something I normally do…searching the Internet! Thanks to a few Black Friday deals I got my daughters taken care of early and hit a big sale at Bath & Body Works to give as gifts at our family Christmas Eve dinner.
