“Understanding your kids online chat get’s harder everyday, and the acronym and abbreviations that they use in their instant and chat messages don’t make it any easier for parents.
By using the Teen Chat Decoder online acronym database, parents can “stay current” with the lingo and chat abbreviations that their kids use everyday.”
This day & time I often wonder what my teens are saying to me or others. I have a hard time understanding the slang of today and personally, I think most of it is ridiculous. Some of the words they use just plain don’t make sense to me! The Teen Chat Decoder is just one more way of figuring out what they might be trying to say or “trying not to say in front of mom or dad”. This is a unique idea and one that I think all parents should check out! You may just learn something new…I didn’t know “SEX” stood for “Some Exciting Extras”…LOL. That could describe what a lot of the bloggers of today are offering…and NOT in a nasty way. Who comes up with this stuff???
