Earlier in the week I received a box from RocketXL Marketing containing 2 bottles of Sidral Mundet Apple Soda. One Green Apple and the other was a little more reminiscent of Apple Juice but I believe it would be Red Apple. Both flavors were interesting, much more so that our regular American sodas. Typically we don’t purchase sodas for our kids unless it is a special occasion. They are too full of sugar, calories, carbohydrates and caffeine. Our doctor suggests that my children do not waste their daily calorie intake by drinking their calories and when he said this, I really started to think about – the amount of sugar they consume daily is ridiculous! Also many people may not know this but a lot of these 20 oz. bottles are more than one serving. I don’t know anyone that just drinks half a bottle and saves the rest for later. At least I know I don’t!
Okay, so on to my thoughts on the Sidrel Apple Soda. Before I opened either, I refrigerated them both for about two days to get them nice & chilled. The first one I opened was the Red Apple Soda. At first taste, it reminded me much like sparking water with just a hint of apple juice flavor. It was crisp, clean and smooth going down. I drank about half of the bottle and put if back in the refrigerator with the cap on. The next day I came back and it was gone. My youngest daughter had seen it had been opened and decided she wanted to try it. Her opinion – “it was really great mom!” It was better than Jarrito’s soda that she had apparently had at a friends house. I thought maybe it would be great for a tummy ache a possible replacement for plain old ginger ale.
The next night I tried the Green Apple Soda that I felt tasted much more like Sour Apple soda. It has a definite bite to it and the flavor was much stronger. Out of the two, I think my choice was that Green Apple better! Just my choice though! My suggestion to you it to go out buy them both and try them for yourself!

Recently I was given the opportunity to have my “fur kids” Backer & Tipper review Hartz Crunch ‘n Clean® Dog Biscuits. I think I was most excited about this review because it was not one where I could get verbal feedback on a product. My dogs are smart, but the verbal skills stop at whining and barking. I noticed that my Boxer, the one that usually swallows biscuits whole, actually chewed and crunched these! He didn’t just swallow them whole. I was amazed! Maybe that is what is different that the other treats I have given him in the past. Never has he begged over and over again for more. Yes, you read that right folks, if you want to know if your product can withstand the hands of a toddler, teenager, klutzy husband or just a plain pissed off mom, then send it to me! I tell you, I think cell phone companies should have mad moms as testers so we will know which phones to buy for our kids. If I can hurl my Blackberry at the floor with all my might and it still works 10 minutes later, that is the one for my teen! If I accidentally drop my Palm or iPhone and the screen shatters, forget that mess. Who wants to pay the price for repairs.
While we are on the subject, this also goes for testing video game consoles (teen boys and husbands can get rough on those things), laptop computers, other various electronic items such as mp3 players, kitchen accessories and other small appliances.
I need the stress relief please!! My husband has still not found a job and we are going on a year, oldest daughter about to graduate, making me crazy, life overwhelming…if I could afford a shrink or kickboxing lessons, I would do that…but, seriously folks, I think mad “moms product durability testing” is a much better marketing strategy!!

I am so excited to be chosen as a host for the “Fun, Fit and Guilt-Free House Party” sponsored by Your Shape with Jenny McCarthy and Jell-o Mousse Temptations! My family and I have had a chance to try out both Wii games and I can tell you that my teens prefer Just Dance over Your Shape but me, I like them both! Just Dance will wear your butt out but what’s better than burning calories while having fun? As for Your Shape, well, let me just say that even as slow paced as it is (slow enough for this older person to keep up with) I was sore for two days after my first session with Jenny. Now, if I can only keep on the schedule of 15 minute work outs 3 days a week that the game set for me, I will be doing good! If I can’t keep up, it’s only because I am lazy…no other excuse!
Again, after the 9th, I will give you a full review but until then, I hope you will check out these great products for yourself! You won’t regret any of them!
I’m off now…to start on my BlackEyed Peas for our traditional New Years Eve-ning! Maybe I will start a new tradition by having Mousse Temptations after wards!
