I am a native Texan Christian wife & mom of two teenage daughters, two dogs, a cat & a gerbil.  I enjoy High School Football, Dallas Cowboys Football & the occasional NASCAR race!  I also enjoy trying new recipes or products and testing them out on my family.  Coupon clipping has become a must for my family and has proven to be a blessing in disguise in many ways.  It has given me the ability to help friends when they are in need and now that we are a one income family, we are able to cut our grocery budget enough that we aren’t currently stressed over bills.  Believe it or not, it has also formed a bond between my husband and I and we are proud “Frugal Parents”!  If I forget to use a coupon for something, he reminds me.  If I fail to use a coupon for something, he tells me he will carry the binder next time…LOL!   I am hoping this is just a start to becoming totally debt free!  I enjoy sharing new recipes or products and money saving ideas and tips with everyone I meet!  I would like to thank Alyssa from  Keeping the Kingdom First and Denise from The “Cent”sible Sawyer for being the inspiration for this blog!

I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma on Dec. 31, 2008 and am currently in REMISSION!!  God is good! I support the American Cancer Society & Lymphoma Awareness. In May, I had the opportunity to participate in the Relay for Life for my very first time.  It will not be my last!  Next year I have the priviledge of being part of the Relay in a different way, not only as a Survivor but also as a Volunteer working with the children’s area hosting games & giving away prizes!!  Any procedes from  affiliate links on my site will be donated on my behalf to ACS through my Relay for Life team.
