Last weekend, hubby and I made our usual trip to Kroger, coupons in hand…little did he know, I had this trip all planned out and we would be saving a boat load of money!  I called ahead and asked my Kroger about their policy on how many $5.00 off Mega Deals one could do and the guy told me that this sale had no limit.  He did inform me though that it was one like coupon per transaction as far as doubling so we had to make two trips during the week to pick up on some of the really great free items.

With Fall being my favorite time of year to bake, I totally took advantage of the Carnation Evaporated Milk freebie – to the tune of about 10 cans of the stuff.  You can find coupons in the 11/1 Redplum section for .50 off 2 cans which when doubled, makes both cans FREE!  Also, Dole Mandarin Oranges or Tropical Fruit cans are on sale for .50 when you purchase 10 Mix & Match items and there is a coupon for .50 off here when you play the Dole “Flip a Fruit” IWG making them free too!  Here are a few other great deals we picked up on, many of which have been extended through next week as well:

Cheez It Crackers – .75 off makes them .24 each
Keebler Fudge Shoppe Cookies – $1.00/2 makes them .49 each
Sunny Delight – .55 off making them .34 each
Maruchan Yakisoba meals – free w/ .50 coupon from the 10/18 SmartSource
Campbell’s Cooking Soups – $1.00/2 makes them .25 each!
Steamfresh Veggies – prices vary from .44 – .98 each depending on which coupons you have.
Land O Lakes butter – .19 with coupon from the 10/18 SmartSource

There are so many other good deals this week including the Steamfresh veggies that range from .44 to .69 with coupons found online or in the paper.  Use this handy site to keep up with what coupons are in each insert!

All together, between store deals & coupons, we saved $123.09 which was 60% of our bill!!  We went back Monday and saved 83% and walked out with all of this for 3.08 -
